A foundational 200+-hour Yoga & Somatics Teacher Training

with our founder Satu Tuomela + friends and incredible teachers, first online through recordings and then in person at the beautiful Monte da Orada, on the South West Coast of Portugal. This is something you do not want to miss!

  • An exclusive 200h+ 40h Foundational Teacher Training in Authentic Flow with more of a mentoring approach than classic yoga training.

  • 84h PRERECORDED material through recordings, and one 4 day module ONLINE 18th-21st April 2024 (this will be recorded). You are welcome to join any time before 30th March! 11 day IN PERSON immersion end of April/May in Portugal to finish.

  • Also included in this training: Our pre-recorded Embodied Yin 50h Teacher Training (valued at 699€)

  • This is definitely something else than a “normal yoga teacher training”. We will go deeply into ourselves. You do not need previous experience to join this training, and everyone is welcome. However, it is also a great training for anyone who has attended a 200h training before but feels the pull for a more somatic and embodied approach in yoga.

  • This 200h teacher training includes a virtual live and recorded component (about 80h) that include additional incredible teachers: Evy Ferraro (embodied anatomy) and Eduardo Terzidis (permaculture).

YOU CAN JOIN THIS TRAINING ANY TIME BEFORE 30th March ! So you still have time to go through the recordings. Some modules can be done after the in person immersion.

APRIL 18th-21st (LIVE participation is mandatory. Email us if you live in an inconvenient timezone)

APRIL 29th - MAY 9th 2024  IN PERSON in PORTUGAL (scroll down to see where)

"Satu is a shaman, using her harmonium, her voice, her touch, her poetic language and her music to transport you into a deeper layer of your Self, your embodied Self, where you can tap into your own healing energies. "

- Katherine Perkins, US

What is Authentic Flow?

- Where Infinite becomes Intimate

Authentic flow is a somatic approach to movement through which we listen, taste, see, feel, inquire and learn to embody our bodies as a living, feeling and exploring creative process of becoming.

This is an ongoing conversation between the inner and the outer, your body and it’s interconnectedness to the environment, between every part of your bodyheartmind, and as a whole. It seeks to clarify tools and pathways for sensing and recognizing Truth, ‘Here-ness’, safety & home, as well as rapture.

The goal is where you are. It is a direct sensory experience of the Now/You, rising as You/Now.

When you move everything moves. We are movement and the movement we are will inform the movement we do; on and off the mat. As we consciously find this arising movement of Truth, we also support more complex, self-regulatory and healing processes in the body-mind. This brings a sense of relief and emotional clarity, a sense of agency and tranquility, nourishment, connection and love.

To be/do this, we use breath, sounding, soundscape, fluid-state activation and recognition, a receptive, sensory state of attention, Yoga asana, mantra, intuitive movement, elemental embodiment and more, all informed by non-dual Tantrik philosophy.

This allows us to go with what truly is and not what we want/try there to be. We get out of our own way and learn to, not necessarily feel better, but to get better at feeling.

We shift our rational and more conventional orientation from linear thinking to a more multi-directional and sensing, feeling Embodied Awakening of the BodyHeartMindSpirit.

“What Satu’s training offered me was a door. And the world that resides beyond that door was phenomenal. This new world is just an endless delight.” — PJ Jayathissa, New Zealand

The Location

Monte da Orada, South West Portugal

This isolated evergreen valley creates an abundant oasis where two creeks come together, as a womb, to nourish an ancient lush forest and wildlife vistas. Orada is a family run, eco-sustainable, permaculture based, soul retreat centre, nestled in 71 ha of nature and privacy, aligned with the aim of expanding health and proposing purposeful transformational moments. With so many spaces to practice and learn and immerse ourselves. A Sacred fire and Amphitheatre with stone seats, perfect for a fire pit, ceremonies, classes and full moon gatherings / rituals. A Biopool - a fully self-sustainable pool ecosystem which keeps the water oxygenated and chemical-free, perfect for swimming and relaxation. The Sauna is ideal to relax during the free times in the retreats with a cold water shower situated next to it. The Irrigation canal - It carries water from St. Clara Dam to the SW coast of the country, and guarantees an abundance of water to Orada. It is refreshingly clean and good fun to float on downstream. And finally the accommodation which ranges from single / twin / shared / dorms in the beautiful Portuguese tapia house, to 4 share bungalows and and intimate tree house. The wilderness is beauty, sleeping in nature is adventurous and yet very comfortable, so we invite you to embrace this one of a kind experience.
Take a look

From the first day I felt a weight had been lifted off my shoulders that I didn’t know I had been carrying. I didn’t need to worry about the asanas and correcting myself, they were only a container. A container for exploring. I explored my heart, bones, fascia and muscles in ways I didn’t know existed. I found my voice, something which I think I knew I was scared of finding but since then I have felt empowered. — Roslyn Gray, Ireland

Evy Ferraro

Through the path of Yoga and various healing modalities, I have dedicated this lifetime to healing the patterns to which my own mental and physical struggles existed within. This path has now become one of devotion to facilitate others to do the same. As my own inner quest for wholeness has continued on its infinite journey, with its ebbs and flows, I have learnt to trust and follow its many tributaries into different modalities including various forms of Yoga, Pilates, Myofascial Release, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Release technique, Contact Improvisation, Shamanism, Somatic education incl: Thomas Hanna Somatics, Feldenkrais, Mind-Body Centering and Franklin method and others. The marriage of these movement practices with non-dual Saiva Tantra has created infinitely creative recipes for truth. The embodied path of Tantra brings us nowhere but here. The goal is, and has always been exactly we are. It is through the vessel of the body, through its miraculous pathways of connectivity and exploration that we can awaken to the intimacy of presence.
