- In this immersive course, you’ll explore how your fascia, nervous system, and meridian pathways form an interconnected landscape that shapes your posture, movement, breath, and emotional well-being. Drawing from Anatomy Trains®, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Embodied Yin™, The Floss® method, and Yamuna® body rolling, this training offers a multidimensional pathway into somatic myofascial release.
Rather than forcing or “fixing” the body, we work with it using mindful touch, myofascial release balls and yamuna balls + yoga blocks, breath, sensation, and slow intentional movement to restore glide, hydration, coherence, and ease throughout the fascial network.
What You van expect:
Discoring A Fascial Map You Can Feel
We will explore Tom Myers’ Myofascial Meridians through direct embodied practice.
Learn how the Superficial Front Line, Back Line, Spiral Line, and deeper stabilizing pathways express through your own posture and movement, and how to unwind imbalances somatically rather than mechanically.
Meridian Pathways Through a TCM Lens and Embodied Yin™
Understand how the body’s fascial continuities mirror and support the energetic meridians of Chinese Medicine.
We connect the physical and subtle, we swim in the meridians combined with the principles of Embodied Yin™.
Sense how tension, stagnation, and emotional holding patterns can travel along these lines, and how release can restore both physical flow and energetic harmony.
Fascia Flossing
Learn essential tools from The Floss®, like:
• elongation + contraction
• fascial glide
• slow rhythmic shearing
• nervous system down-regulation
you’ll cultivate a space where tissues can soften, reorganize, and melt open from the inside out.
Yamuna® & Myofascial Ball Work integrated into practices like Embodied Yin (or "normal" Yin yoga) and Fascial Flossing
Use specific ball-based techniques to:
• decompress joints
• stimulate hydration
• support bone alignment
• release deep fascial densifications
• awaken proprioception and interoception
Yamuna’s spherical pressure and fascially-informed movement pairs beautifully with somatic release and meridian mapping. We love these balls! There is a link after signing up through which you can purchase them. You will also need 2 yoga tuneup therapy balls or tennis balls, and 2 yoga blocks.
